Khasra
The plot number in the land record, and the record of that plot.
A khasra number identifies a single plot of land in the revenue record, along with its area, its classification and the crop grown on it. It is the unit you quote when checking a specific field. The term is used across north India, while other regions use survey number or sub division number for the same idea.
